PROFILE

Starting in 2005 as a Graphic Artist and SketchUp modeler for HHCP Architects in Maitland, FL, Nathan's knack for speed and visual flair caught the eye of Architect Raymond Hsu, who brought Nathan to OBMI's Madrid office in 2007 to be the 3D/Graphic Lead.

After several months, Nathan transferred to OBMI's Miami office where he expanded their 3D capabilities with textured 3D-printed scale-models. 2008 found Nathan no longer with a full-time position, so he began independent contractor work and taught himself 3DS MAX and Architectural visualization animation.

In 2010 Raymond Hsu once again hired Nathan to help design and model a major project in Chen Chun City, China. Nathan lived and worked in Shenzhen, China, teaching himself the VRAY render engine, before returning to the Central Florida area.

Nathan continued to do contract work until he was contacted in late 2012 by Jerry Peirson of ITEC Entertainment. ITEC was in need of a SketchUp expert to remodel two major attractions in Wuhan, China that were on the fast track to being constructed. Nathan overhauled the 3D modeling process, creating extremely accurate SketchUp models which were used by every aspect of the attraction design process. While working on the next few projects, Nathan taught himself Maya in order to assist with ITEC's animated media production. Working closely with the media production team, Nathan helped to produce dozens of animations and simulations that lead to the successful launch of multiple attractions.

In 2016 David Morris of Team MOBIUS contacted Nathan about an opportunity involving doing some 3D work for Universal Studios Japan. Nathan was an integral part of the design team for USJ's Minion Park. While at Team MOBIUS, Nathan also modeled and programed several Virtual Reality experiences using Unreal Engine and the HTC Vive.

Nathan continues to provide professional quality 3D Visualizations, Simulations, Graphic Design and Architectural Illustration.
